19th century, the most beautiful private villas in the spa town of Sovata were built on the site of the dried-up valley of the &#8216;Golden Stream&#8217;, on the present-day Road of the Roses, near Lake \u2018\u2019Ursu\u2019\u2019<br \/>Villa Dessewffy, one of the buildings that dominated the landscape of Sovata, was built in 1906 in the National-Romanesque style, with a masonry structure and wooden ceilings.<br \/>The first owner and builder of the villa was Aristid Dessewffy.<br \/>After 1930 the building became the property of Albert Klein, a teacher from Sibiu. The building was collec collectivized in 1947 and was only retroceded in the early 1990s.
